This blogging business isn't as easy to keep up with as I thought it would be; thank you for your patience with me! I have some great recordings of your children that I am working on posting. We'll see if I'm able to get them up for y'all to see in the near future. As I tell your children, I am always learning new things just as they are. I am confident (more like hopeful) that I will be quite skilled at blogging by the end of the year, and that through this journey you will learn to be too.

Some concepts we have been/will be covering in class that you might want to ask your child about:
* graphing (sort it, table it, fill it, title it)
* the sun, moon, and stars
* identifying and writing the letters f, g,and i (last week), and l, h, b (this week)
as well as the saying the sounds these letters make
* skipping

First Day of School!!

Welcome to Kindergarten!

Welcome to the 2010 - 2011 school year! I am looking forward to a great school year with you all. This year I will be using this blog to communicate with the students as well as with parents. I encourage you to subscribe to the blog and check back regularly to see what is going on in the class.
